Dermalogica Hydro-Active Mineral Salt Scrub
Mineral rich sea salt, dried seaweed and fruit enzymes combine to smooth and silken the entire body. Includes dry body brushing and gentle cloth buffing and an application of body hydrating cream. A good prelude to other treatments.

Traditional Finnish Sauna Session
The sauna was made famouse by the finns and dates back over 2000 years! The basic purpose of the sauna is cleanse the body through persperation helping the body detoxify itself as it rids itself of potentially harmful impurities such as traces of alcohol, nicotine and sodium. Suitable for all skin types the heat opens cleanses the pores flushing out bacteria, and skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis have been known to improve through regular sauna use. The heat of the sauna helps to relieve pain and stiffness from athritis and relaxed and revives stiff, tired, aching, overworked and strained muscles. The latest scientific data shows that people who regularly use saunas tend to suffer from flu and common colds ten times less than the average - this is because a sauna stimulates the immune system. Swiss doctors use saunas in the treatment of high blood pressure and according the the findings of The American Medical Association a 30 min sauna session increases the heart rate by 50-70% and during a 10-20 min session you burn as many calories as you would jogging or rowing for the same amount of time. Since you burn calories you actually lose weights - not just water!
1. All clients (for the purposes of health and hygine) should wear a bathing suit or the provided towel with disposable underwear.
2. Firstly you should take a warm shower for hygiene reasons and to increase the body temperature preparing your body for the sauna.
3. Enter the sauna and choose which bench you wish to sit on - the upper bench will be hotter so move to the lower bench if you find it too hot.
4. Start by spending a 10-15 min session in the sauna. You may wish to up the temperature by throwing water on the stones in the heater.
5. After the 10-15 min session take a cool refreshing shower.
6. After you have cooled off you can repeat the stages 3-5 as many times as you like.

Steam Session
It is not exactly clear where the steam bath originates from, what we do know is that it dates back over thousands of years and that in the Roman times steam rooms/ baths were commonplace & known as places to socialise. In Russia steam room/ baths were a place of magic and mystique and lots of folklore tales are set in steam rooms.. Today it is well known that in Turkey steam rooms/ baths are a way of life and this in the far east it is common to conduct business in the steam room as it as seen that steam gives you mental clarity. A steam batth varies dramatically from a sauna in that the sauna is a dry heat with low humidity where-as the steam is a warming wet heat with high humidity. A steam bath is extremely relaxinf, the gently warming heat soothes aches and pains and away the stress and strains of everyday life. This ultra hydrating treatment encourages cell production and reids dead skin cells which leaves the skin feeling smoother and softer. Unlike the sauna the steam is a continuous treatment and there is no need to alternate bewteen hot and cold. Once in the bath you remain there for a maximum of 20 mins before showering to complement the treatment.

Thalassotherapy
A favourite of the stars and in particular Jennifer Lopez, this maring treatment targets the legs, thighs, hips and bottom. Thalassotherapy uses marine technology to combat poor muscle tone, cellulite, water retention and poor circulation. The treatment begins with a soft mineral salt scrub followed by an application of marine gel, cold thalassotherapy trousers are then worn over the top and immediately you will feel the treatment working. After 30 mins the marine gel is removed and a lymphatic drainage style massage or vacuum suction treatment to the legs is carried out. This treatment is recommended as part of a course.

The Dermalogica Pure Indulgence Back Treatment.
This treatment is like a luxury facial for the back, it begins with aromatherapy in halation and breathing techniques to help you unwind, followed by Europead dry body brushing, body washing and customized exfoliation. A tailor made back pack is then applied, while the pack is left to work wonders attention is given to the feet and legs utilizing aromatherapy and drainage movements to reduce fluid retention and fatigue, the back pack is then removed with warm steam towels before a back neck and shoulder massage is carreid out followed by some thai thermalism. To finish, body hydrating cream is applied to re-hydrate, nourish and soften the skin.

Gerrards Kiroplast Green Tea Abdomen Treatment
Designed specifically for the treatment of the abdomen, krioplast is ideal for those who suffer from bloatedness, water retention, stretch marks and swelling of the stomach. After this treatment the abdomen is left feeling less swollen, firm, toned, tightened, refined and existing stretch marks appear less visible. The Gerards Organic Soy Body Treatment with Gommy Massage

Thermal Therapy
This treatment is ideal for those who suffer from damaged dry hands or feet and nails that lack radience. A rich reparing cream is massaged into the hands or feet to immediately soften and nourish the skin. The hands/ feet are then encapsulated in specially designed heated mittens/ booties to allow effective penetration of the repairing cream, whilst improving the circulation and soothing aches and pains.

Gerards Thermal Gomage Body Scrub
